Wisconsin cook-offs

Wisconsin's competitive cooking scene is summer-only, running June through September. KCBS-sanctioned contests at outdoor venues and county fairs make up most of the calendar; cold winters and short shoulder seasons mean Wisconsin teams typically travel south of the state line for off-season contests. The Madison and Milwaukee metros concentrate the larger events.
