Georgia cook-offs

Georgia's BBQ calendar runs March through October. The Big Pig Jig in Vienna each fall is the state's signature event — one of the older and larger BBQ competitions in the southeast. KCBS-sanctioned contests fill the rest of the calendar from Atlanta to Savannah, and the state's mild climate keeps the outdoor cook season long.
