Cooks are asked to bring give away chili because there is always a large crowd. Open chili entry fee $35. Open turn-in is 12:30. Open chili teams are limited to one entry per team and must cook a minimum of 5 gallons. Cash prizes awarded in the Open category. Madison Downtown Festival includes live music, handmade crafts market and lots of other activities for all ages. All contestants must adhere to local food safety inspections.
